Background/Preparation: | The teacher needs to be familiar with the PhotoStory/picture editing software. (PhotoStory download) |
1. Sing the song 'Head, Shoulders, Knees, and Toes' 2. Get into groups of three and have one person lay flat on a large piece of paper and the other two will trace them. Once the body is drawn out the group members will draw pictures on the main body parts (head, arms, shoulders, knees, hands, fingers, feet, toes, and legs). 3. The teacher will select a certain part of the body from each group. A digital picture will be taken of that group's part. The digital pictures will be combined in a PhotoStory presentation. Each group can select a group member to present thier particular body part in the PhotoStory. The final PhotoStory will be shared with the entire group. 4. Students can display the groups' drawings in the hallway. |
